OUR STORY
Traveling across the ancient Islamic world, from Andalusia to the Far East, we were able to experience its beautiful and rich artistic traditions. A history that left such a legacy that it shaped the development of mathematics, art and architecture across the world.
We were inspired by its mesmerising geometric patterns which rendered a sense of being lost in infinite beauty. We wanted to share this timeless artistic tradition in a modern context.
This was the birth of Miraj Collections.
‘Miraj’ in Arabic means “Ascension”

Since founding Miraj Collections we have run two successful
crowdfunding campaignswhich helped us bring to live our
first watch line called the Alhambra Collection.
THE FOUNDERS
“We are two independent designers who share a passion of blending heritage with modern design to create innovative accessories."
We’re two friends, Abdullah Ahmed and Harun Asif, based in London, and we started
Miraj Collections in 2018.
We conceived the idea for Miraj through
our travels across the world, our common passion for design and a deep appreciation
of the Islamic artistic tradition and cultural heritage.
We want to share this timeless tradition through watches and accessories, so it can be appreciated by everyone, every day.
